Teaching Reading Reading skill helps us in all of the language skill, and also improves our learning in English language. I love to read, it’s my favorite subject, but the one of the strategies that I used to use with my students was reading comprehension, I started the class by reading the content, and I asked some questions and answers about what I was reading. And then I was continuing to write a practice about the reading lesson. Know, I have to apply the teaching reading, and with these strategies and the systematic practice, I will notice that how my students learn to reading and the comprehension reading.

Culture shock My experience “culture Shock” in Arkansas one of them is the language in the two areas, listening and speaking English language.   Sometime when I go to the supermarket or mall to bay something, I have to repeat each word several time, because somebody don’t understand it, and also, when I don’t understand about, what someone is talking about , I have to tell them “could you please, speak slowly?”. Something I’m confused about what they tell me, but I express with some gestures. One of the solutions to improve my listening and speaking, is to listen in any time, watch TV News, listen to stories and listen to music and sing a  song.  The other one is the weather and all of the clothes that I have to wear, it so horrible, in the morning I really feel bad, it too cool. I hope that the rest of the training, I would be adapted to the weather.

The Sunday´s Day One of the things that I reflection is about the day Sunday in Arkansas, that people cannot buy alcoholic drinks all day of Sunday for everywhere. In my country is the day that all of the people drunk for everywhere. In my country if you go to the supermarket on Friday night at 12: 00 more or less, the supermarket it’s really crowed, all people start to drunk until Sunday. Woo it so chocking. I hope that one day in my country follow this rules.

Reflective: True Color. What color your dominant color and how do these relate to teaching/learning /life? ·         My dominant color is GREEN. . I think TRUE COLOR help to the teacher to understand that each students have their own true color, that some of one are unique, and I teaching according with my personality, and I didn’t know that every student have a dominant color, because I teach with some material in each class about my styles or according with my true color, and   . So I need to understand that not all my students have to work like me. each student is trying to assimilate , different style of personality or characteristic that they not have. I need to learn more about different TRUE COLOR characteristics.
